21 Days of Fasting and Praying. More information can be found in the Daniel Fast pdf.
During our time of Fasting and Praying, corporate virtual prayer is on Wednesday and Friday.
Prayer Line Phone Number: (571) 525-1171 Passcode: 8237476
It is a great day already! As we begin day 1 of our fast, I want to encourage you all to:
*Fast with a purpose; what do you want to accomplish
*Spend time in prayer, worship, and the Word
*If you need to take medication with food, be sure you follow your doctor’s orders
“And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
Put your faith in action and watch God honor his promises. Believe and do not doubt. Seek God, and He will speak clearly to you!
Grace and peace,
Pastor Ron
"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:16-18 NIV
We are fasting for a purpose. Not so that we get praise from men, but that we get closer to God, learn to deny ourselves, and make a corporate commitment to obey the Lord’s commands.
I pray that you will be strengthened today to stand against every attack, every thought, every habit, and every weight that hat seeks to throw you off course.
If you continue to think about what you’re missing, you’re missing the point of the fast!
Grace and peace be with you!!
Pastor Ron
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”
Isaiah 58:6 KJV
The purpose of our fast is to deny ourselves, get closer to God, and for every believer to be set free. I’m overjoyed that God grants is the opportunity to walk in freedom at the beginning of the year so that we can walk in freedom all year! God desires that the bands of wickedness be broken, the heavy burdens lifted, the oppressed go free, and that EVERY yoke is broken!!
You may get tired, you may get weak, but just as God declares to Paul “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
So when you are tired reach to God for He is our strength! Remember the beginning of the year sets the tone for our entire year.

Grace and peace! One thing that this fast has taught me is that I am not controlled by my instincts. I can make the choice of what goes in my body. Even though the pizza smelled good, I’ve made a conscious choice that I’m going to be committed to God this year.
Our fast is symbolic of us offering God our first fruits in regards to our time, our minds, and our bodies for his goodness in 2022.
Think about this song by Milton Brunson.
Lord, I'm available to You
My will I give to You
I'll do what You say do
Use me Lord to show someone the way and enable me to say
My storage is empty and I am available to You
God wants your heart. God wants a yes. Will you say yes?

Matt 16:26
Pastor Ron
Great day everyone!! Welcome to Day 5!
Thank you to those who joined the prayer call this morning. I pray it ignited your morning and inspires your day!
Can I be honest and say that I say yes WAY too much. I say yes to people and yes to myself. I say yes to people because I don’t want to let them down. I say yes to me because it has been a habit since birth.
This consecration is teaching me that it’s ok to say no. Matter of fact it’s good to say no. Everyone does not always deserve my yes. And I certainly do not deserve my yes.
On the other hand saying yes is ok too; but I have to say yes to the things of God and yes to the things that will benefit our lives.
So I challenge you today to say yes to God. Say yes to being obedient to his commands. Say yes tonHis will and His way! Say yes to His guidance. Say yea to His provision.
With that said, we have to say no too. Why because saying no teaches self-discipline. Saying no teaches humility. Most importantly, saying no helps me place God’s agenda over my agenda. Say yes Lord!

“But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”
Matthew 5:37 KJV
Pastor Ron
“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.”
Matthew 5:6 AMP
We are driven by our appetites. As the old saying goes, you are what you eat. Today I pray that you are driven by an appetite to put effective nourishment and nutrition into you body.
But don’t stop there! I pray that you equally give attention to your spirit man. Feed him a good diet of prayer, worship, and the Word and watch how your spiritual muscles develop!

I don’t know about you but this fast has really helped me realize the difference between my wants and needs. I may want that “Whatchamacallit” but I don’t need it.
Our fast is pushing us to greater self denial to align ourselves with God’s Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to “Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to your own understanding; Acknowledge the Lord in ALL your ways and He will direct your path.”
Remember to pray, read the Word, and spend sometime in worship.

8 is the number of new beginnings, new births, new creation, and new covenants. On Sunday, we learned that First Fruits are offered at the beginning of the year and every new season in your life.
Today’s a new day, so I challenge you to offer God your first fruit in the form of your time. In this new season we are walking in we must give God what he requires, not what we think he wants.
Here is what God requires: “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10 NIV
According to the First Fruit principle, when we do our part, God will do His and blow our minds!

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35 NIV
Did you know that God is concerned how we treat each other? How I treat others is the reflection of the love of Christ that is in my heart.
Yes, I know there are some folks who are difficult to deal with; but I’m sure we can agree we haven’t been the BEST Christian. God still deals with us despite our attitudes, our shortcomings, and our sins.
We have been given much grace, so we should all GIVE much LOVE and GRACE.
I want to encourage you all. You’ve made it to day 10 of the consecration!! For some of you this is the first time you are participating in a fast.
You may have thought you couldn’t do it. You may have slipped along the way. But you’re still on the path. Don’t quit! Run the race at your own pace and speed!
The number ten correlates with the word testimony. I encourage you to testify about something God has done for you in these last 10 days.

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Rom. 12:6-8 ESV
Each one of us is unique. Each one of us has a specific gift. Each one of us has a vital role to our local church in which we serve.
During this fast USE your gift to build your family, your church, and anyone you come in contact with. We are world changers!

My children are extremely blessed. They have toys pressed down, shaken together, and running over! My wife and I have to purge or select toys we think they no longer play with to make room for new toys.
Can I tell it’s the same way in our adult lives. We have to purge and get rid of clothes, things, and people who no longer serve a beneficial purpose in our lives. Maybe you’ve outgrown some people and you’re still trying to hold on. Let them Go!!!
So today I challenge you to purge your heart, purge your mind, purge your spirit, and purge your body from all the things you once thought you needed. That’s the thing about life; we all must mature and realize that what we thought we needed wasn’t a need at all.
While you’re purging, be sure to make room for God. Remember that’s why we are fasting!

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV)
A promise is defined as a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen. Many of us have had broken promises made to us. Matter of fact many of us have been promise breakers as well!
But I’m so glad that God assures us all that what he spoke, that is His promise, will happen. That means even though my current reality is not a reflection of his promise, his promise still holds true!
Why? Because God is NOT a promise breaker. God is trustworthy. God is accountable. God is dependable. So, hold on, trust, and believe! Yep, that’s all you have to do!

Guess what? You only have 7 days remaining! Congratulations for taking this journey to jump start your faith for the new year!
The number one enemy to your faith is doubt. It is surprising that it only takes a little bit of doubt to cause us to lose the faith. We lose faith in the guaranteed victory that was already promised to us.
Today make up your mind that you are going to believe and not doubt. You must not allow any hint of doubt to discourage, distract, and deny the promises of God!

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 NIV
Our purpose is to be a walking reflection of Jesus and Him alone. When we fail to reflect the true nature and characteristics of Christ we give others the ammunition to call us hypocrites.
I challenge you today to remember the song we sang as children. “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.” Let your light shine all day and reflect Christ in all you do.

You have what you say! There is power in your words. The Bible declares we have the power of life and death in our tongues. Maybe your life has not changed because of what you are speaking out of your mouth. What you speak, good or bad, will manifest in your life. Choose your words wisely!
“Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.”
Ecclesiastes 5:2 NIV

Because God is the greatest power we will never be defeated! Today I charge you to never accept defeat! When the enemy tells you you will never be anything don’t believe him. Why because he is a liar. Matter of fact he is the father of lies. Every word he speaks is a lie! So why would you believe a liar! He can’t be trusted!!
#FakeNews #GodIsExalted #NeverBeDefeated #NoMoreDeception #LiesDetected
Life is not perfect. This life we live is filled with ups and downs. Valleys and hills. Good days and bad days.
But Jesus wants us to expect tribulations to come. He also wants us to have the expectation that we will overcome because he has already overcome.
That means we’ve already won over any issue we face. Maybe we shouldn’t think of our “issues” in a bad way. Because it is our issues that ultimately cause us to pray and seek God more.
